Can AI really get rid of Recruiters?

Lately the buzz word in the recruiting industry has been “artificial intelligence”. Are we at risk of losing our jobs? Will recruiters be replaced by chat bots?


I do think AI can help with sourcing and speeding up certain processes, but it can’t replace empathy, rapport, gathering requirements, handling objections, closing, obligation and social proof….just to name a few. I mean, can a robot really convince someone to work for you if they have never had the chance to meet you?

AI will never replace a handshake.

What are your thoughts on AI and the future of recruiting and candidate experience? Would you leave your current role after speaking to a robot?
